Could you please post the output of:

nest-config --prefix

/usr

nest-config --datadir

share/nest

I reinstalled the nest package and made sure there is no space in directory names.

cmake -Dwith-python=3 -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX:PATH=/home/abolfazl/prog/nest-install /home/abolfazl/prog/nest-source
