Hi Michael

Could you maybe test the NEST conda-package without Spyder?
Activate your NEST environment and try to import NEST:

    conda activate YOURNESTENVIRONMENT


     >>>import NEST

If this still causes problems, you could try 'pythonw' instead of 'python'.
